I LAT0NIA TURF NOTES $ k Smith C. Baker has completed arrangements to send the R, L. Baker thoroughbreds to Thistle Down next Sunday night, but will not join the stable there until later in the week. He returns to Lexington from Latonia for a brief visit. H. M. Walkers Ada W. had the firing irons applied to her ankles Monday morning. Dr. C. C. Cann performed the operation. Kirby Ramsey has altered his plans and instead of heading for Arlington Park, will send his charges to Thistle Down. He probably will have Crowning Glory and Mucho Gusto as his colorbearers in the Opening Day Handicap.
