I ARLINGTON PARK NOTES $ Unloaded from Detroit at Arlington Park, Sunday, were eight horses owned by the Oddesa -Farms and trained by C. Hyde Smith. The Detroit-owned shipment comprised Eddies Brother, Don Creole, Imperial Ebee, Virginia J., Ben Sweep, Oddesa Boy, Fire Finch and Obstinate Boy. Headed by Whopper, winner of the Pont-chartrain Handicap Saturday; Hollyrood, the Detroit and Chicago Derbys winner; and and the good two-year-old Apogee, trainer Duval Headley unloaded sixteen horses racing for his father, Hal Price Headley, from Detroit and Arlington Park, Monday morning. Sparta, which won the Latonia Oaks for Headley at Latonia last Saturday, got in Sunday from Kentucky. Grand Slam, the accomplished mud running three-year-old which will be the De-troit-owned Bomar Stables chief hope for Classic Stakes honors, arrived from the Motor City in the shipment of sixteen horses sent here in charge of trainer R. E. Potts. Trainer Cliff Porter has eighteen horses owned by Charles Bacharachs Southland Stable here from New York for the Arlington Park meeting. The two-year-old Above Par, which is pointed for the 0,000 Arlington Futurity, was included in this shipment. Phil Reuter brought in five horses for Porter Monday from New York. Starter Roy Dickerson had a busy morning at the schooling barrier Monday when forty horses reported for additional education.
