f MOUNT ROYAL TURF NOTES j j C. ODonnell purchased the plater, Mel-drum, from Mrs. R. Russell at private terms. Lester R. Doyle, who served for the first time as racing secretary at the Mount Royal meeting, was congratulated by the horsemen and officials at Mount Royal for his arrangement of the programs for the meeting. Doyle has filled the position of clerk of scales on the Quebec circuit for many years and also acted as assistant to Julius O.Reeifr. The majority of the riders at Mount Rojal will leave for Toronto to take part in tno Dufferin Park meeting Jockey E. Mor Park, while E. Ter-hunfand leaves for Rockingham R. Wlmmer leave for Sportsman a Park, Chicago.
