VICARESS RETIRED TO STUD NEW YORK, N. Y., Oct. 13. The Belair Studs Vicaress, which broke down in a trial at Aqueduct, will be snipped to the farm in Maryland to enter the stud. X-ray photographs were taken of the injured ankle yesterday. Vicaress is a bay filly by Flying Ebony Valkyr, the latter a daughter of Man o War. She ha3 won fifteen out of fifty-seven starts in three years of racing with total earnings of 5,515 to her credit.
