I ROCKINGHAM TURF NOTES ; 4 Jockey J. Fontaine suffered a bruised hand in a peculiar incident this morning. While schooling Robber Baron, a green colt, away from the barrier, he was savaged by the filly Petite Roubaix and pulled from the colts back. Satrapal came out of his race Monday lamed and will be on the shelf for a time. G. K. Allen arrived from Montreal with Vee Eight and Miss Donovan. Ed Haughton shipped sixteen head to Arlington Downs, Texas. He left five members of his string in care of J. Shea to race until the close of the Rockingham season. They will be shipped to Texas along with the string of O. L. Foster. R. Robertson plans sending his entire string to Hot Springs at the conclusion of the Narragansctt meeting. They will be rested up all winter. Wee Wink was injured so badly when kicked the other day that it was necessary to have her destroyed. Jockey C. Stevenson in the futre will confine his riding activities to mounts of his contract employer. Jockey T. Malley was suspended for five days for rough riding in the fifth race Tuesday.
