For a consideration that was not made public Miss Alice Middleton purchased the plater. Pepper Patch, from Elmer Trueman. James Loftus, publicity director for the Gables Racing Association, arrived from New York and will busy himself during the next two weeks circulating among the horse-menin interest of that meeting which opens the Florida racing season on December 14. A warning has been issued by track superintendent Harry J. Collins of the Gables Racing Association that horsemen should not ship to the Florida course unless they have been granted stall space.
