I DETROIT TURF NOTES I S- 5 The stewards fined apprentice J. Marrero 5 for reporting wrong weight to the clerk of the scales. The first issue of condition books for the Thistle Down meeting, which gets under way July 12, are being distributed among the horsemen. The book is the work of Charles F. Henry, who will serve as racing secretary. Six members of the Paul L. Kelley stable will be shipped to Arlington Park Saturday night, and the others will remain here until the close of the meeting. J. B. Respess is sending eight horses here from Latonia, and they are due to arrive Sunday. Jockey E. Rodriguez will come along with the stable. Eugene Bury, who will serve as racing secretary at Fort Erie, is here in the interest of that meeting. Jockey R, Wholey will ride Azucar in the Frontier Handicap, and Burt Thornton will handle I. J. Collins Paradisical. Claude Hunt will ship Aces Wild and the other members of his stable to Delaware Park. ;
