LARGE CROWD AT DUFFERIN TORONTO, Ont., June 25. In another hard-fought battle which has been a common occurrence throughout the Dufferin Park meeting, G. Gallaghers Langstaffe, five-year-old son of Judge Fuller and Canister, was returned a driving winner by a scant head over Babe Gaiety and five other homebred sprinters that vied for honors at six and one-half furlongs on the best offering of Fridays program. Two lengths behind Babe Gaiety came Simosee, the public choice, which was four lengths in the van of the faint-hearted Circulet. One of the largest week-day crowds of the meeting was on hand to witness the next to closing day of the sport. The racing could have been no more formful.
