ARLINGTON PARK OFFERS PRIZES FOR TRAINERS ARLINGTON, 111., June 25 Horsemen are pointing particularly for the distance races at Arlington Park, with the new system of special awards to trainers being introduced at the meeting opening here Monday. Arlington is the only track in the summer sector to offer prizes to trainers who saddle winners of these races over a distance, and these awards should assure large fields in all races at a mile and three-sixteenths. Following is the notice in secretary McLennans condition book covering the awards: "In all races of a distance of one and three-sixteenth miles, the trainer saddling the winner will receive 0; all races of one and one-quarter miles, 00; all races of one mile and three furlongs, 50; all races of one And one-half miles and over, 00."
