SAHRI II., raced close to the pace from the start, moved up fast when straightened out in the stretch run, disposed of HEADIN HOME and had something left at the end. HEADIN HOME was rushed into command after the start, showed speed arid held on well but could not stall off the winner. BLACK MISCHIEF, away fast and taken in hand when outrun, moved up in the stretch run but hung at the finish. SPEED was outrun in the early stages and had no mishaps. SEMAPHORE moved up with a rush at the far turn, then quit. BETIILEHEMSTAR was outrun from the start. Overweight Bethlehemstar, 3 pounds. SECOND RACE ABOUT 2 MILES. Won driving; second and third easily. SALUDA jumped well and kept close to the pace from the start, came to the outside in the final eighth and outlasted RIDEA WAY in the last strides. The latter jumped well throughout, showed good speed and held on gamely to the end. SHIP EXECUTIVE made a bad landing at the eighth fence, recovered slowly and was carried wide nearing the final fence but swerved in the last seventy yards. BACHELOR PHILIP showed speed the first turn of the field while forcing the pace, then tired at the end. BRANT moved up with a rush the final turn of the field but faltered under pressure at the end. GRAND PLAY, a forward factor all the way, faltered in the final drive. IDLE MIDGET raced close to the pace throughout and had no mishaps. CHIEF CHEROKEE moved up rounding the stretch turn and then faltered. MISS DIGNITY had no mishaps. EPICAL sulked all during the running and could not improve his position. VAMOOSE moved up with determination when called upon, came through" on the inside entering the stretch and finished well. RIPARIAN, close up from the start, had no mishaps.
