I AGAWAM TURF NOTES j t 4 The J. J. Barker trained horses which have been racing at Agawam Park have been transferred to Aqueduct. Vincent Treanor arrived from New York and took his position in the stand as steward. Treanor takes the position left vacant by George Brown, Jr., who departed for Delaware Park. The horses Epitaph and Black Girl were shipped to Montreal for racing on the Quebec circuit. Jockey Elmer Fator, who was injured here a couple of weeks ago, has recovered sufficiently from his injuries and returned to the saddle Thursday. Lawrence Dempsey, well-known on Broadway in the Metropolitan area, was an arrival from Chicago. Dempsey was accompanied by a party of friends from the Windy City and will remain for a few days of the sport here. ? t i i i i
