I LATONIA TURF NOTES s O. S. Gear heart was an arrival from Beu-lah Park with the following horses, which are the property of Mrs. O. S. Gearheart Beckville, Justa Plane and Office Girl. Mose Goldblatt, Cincinnati turfman, has engaged jockey Porter Roberts to ride Dnieper in the renewal of the ,500 added En- quirer Handicap here Saturday. Roberts has handled the four-year-old in all of his engagements here this season. Apprentice J."W. "Red" Wilson, who suffered a fractured collarbone when he fell with Pat C. more than two weeks ago, had his arm removed from the sling. He hopes to resume riding within the next ten days. Two-year-olds will negotiate six furlongs for the first time this year at Latonia, when the Cincinnati Trophy has its thirty-sixth renewal on Saturday, July 3. Fifty-eight colts and geldings are eligible for the ,500 added stakes fixture. The Latonia stewards Friday decreed that the" further entry of Nan Elizabeth be refused. They announced the horse is in an unfit condition to race.
