ENDORSE SEN. VANDENBERG LANSING, Mich., May 19— Michigan Republican leaders, including Gov. Luren D. Dickinson, and the entire slate of elected Republican officials, today formally endorsed United States Senator Arthur H. Vandenberg as Michigans Republican candidate for the presidency in 1940. The unexpected statement lauded Vanderberg as a "national Republican Liberal," and pledged him support of the Michigan delegation to the 1940 G. O. P. convention.
