] SUFFOLK DOWNS NOTES f j $ The Suffolk Downs management has announced that starting Friday and continuing throughout the present meeting opportunity will be given to buy pari-mutuel tickets for the seventh and eighth races at any time during the afternoon. These tickets will be sold at the information windows in the jnain line grandstand and lower floor clubhouse. C. F. Dunn has taken over the plater Thierz to train. Jockey Lucas Dupps flew home to Louisville, Ky., Friday, to join his mother, who is seriously ill. Jockey Eddie Arcaro is due Saturday. He will have the mount on Tatterdemalion an the Governors Handicap. Jockey Alfred Shelhamer, engaged to ride one of the H. C. Hatch entries in the Kings Plate at Woodbine Park, received news that his mount had gone lame and that he would have to pass up the opportunity to Tide hefore King George and Queen Elizabeth. W. "Frenchy" Rosen checked in with four head from Pimlico. Jockey Jimmy Ashcroft has been signed to pilot one of Medway Stables entries in the Kings Plate at Toronto. The apprentice allowance was waived on the juvenile Three o Three in the fifth race Friday to permit jockey E. Smith to have the mount. Trainer, T. J. Sheehy checked in with the plater Sun Cat. Bushmaster and Judges Verdict have been added to the division of the Mrs. E. D. Jacobs string that A. G. Bedell is campaigning at Suffolk Do.rns. H. Trudeau registered Whodunit, which races for Miss H. Pepper.
