STARTER ARRIVES AT OMAHA Chilcutt Ready to Begin Schooling at Ak-Sar-Ben — More Horses He.ach Track. OMAHA, Neb., May 19.— Noel Chilcutt, starter for the Ak-Sar-Ben race meeting, which opens a week from Saturday, arrived in Omaha today, ready to take over the schooling which has been under way for several days past, under supervision of his two assistants, George Kidd and Paul Noble. Chilcutt reported that about six cars of horses are due to leave Bay Meadows this week for Omaha, ready to run on the opening day here, May 27. A car from San Diego arrived today, including the horses of J. Bertozzi, "Spec" Miller, Frank Attebury and Harry Fields. N. Merritt, the jockey, came ahead of the car with Bertozzi. The Nopalosa Stock Farm horses of Laredo, Texas, arrived today in charge of N. A. McMasters. In their shipment were Nopalosa Peace, Nopalosa Porte, Nopalosa Jr., Nopalosa Donna, Nopalosa Bird, Nopalosa Flag, and the two-year-olds, Nopalosa Talk, Nopalosa Raja, Nopalosa Quate and Nopalosa Red.
