CREECHS CLEVELAND STABLE Missouri Horseman Will Campaign Twenty-Four Horses. String Destined for North Randall Competition Headed by Four Performers of Handicap Class. CLEVELAND, Ohio, May 19. — Bennet Creech, Missouri horsemen who finished eleventh among the countrys trainers last year in money winnings, will campaign twenty-four horses at the forthcoming North I Randall meeting May 27 to July 4. Creech, who has been handling thoroughbreds for almost a score of years, is no stranger to Clevelanders. They remember him as far back as 1926 when he raced a stable of horses topped by Fortunate Girl on local tracks. Naturally, Creech is attracted by the 64,600 in purses offered by the Cleveland Jockey Club, Inc., at North Randall and is more than anxious to get a goodly portion of it. His stable at North Randall will include the two horses he purchased a few days ago from Daniel B. Midkiff at Churchill Downs. Acting for Mrs. A. M. Creech, Bennet added Dunvegan and Malinda B. to his establishment. Headlining the Creech stable are Shining Heels, Reaping, Sir Ally and Grey Streak, all handicap performers. Shining Heels, a four-year-old filly, earned ,355 last year by winning seven races, finishing second in seven others and third on six other occasions. She won the famous Clipsetta Stakes at Latonia in 1937. Reaping, a six-year-old, won four races last year and ,775. Other Creech colorbearers include: Flying Watch, Crout Au Pot, Sister Polly, Moisson, Dusky Prince, Formax, Hearty, Gato, Quenna, Tunbridge, In Chancery and the two-year-old Perfect Maid. Eight of Creechs horses, including Shining Heels, Reaping and Sir Ally have been at Randall since April to prepare for the thirty-three-day meeting. «.T?idjn,g for the Missouri horseman will be Bobby Conley and Jack Richard. Conley won 110 races last year and Richard etehtv-five. J
