Burning Star and Arabs Arrow Are Included Among Seven Overnight Eligibles— Session Very Successful. LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 19.— The nineteen-day spring meeting at Churchill Downs will draw to a close tomorrow with a splendid program of eight races featured by the twenty-first running of the Kentucky cap, a contest of a mile and a furlong for three-year-olds and upward. The race drew only seven contestants, but two of them are such well known handicap performers as Burning Star and Arabs Arrow and the others are so weighted that the stake, which carries an added purse of §2,500, should prove a fitting feature for the Downs final program. Arabs Arrow, which races for Mrs. Louise J. Hickman, of Louisville, will be out for his .third stakes triumph of the meeting. He captured the historic Clark Handicap on the first day of the meeting, April 29, and came back later to get a dead heat for top honors with Kings Blue in the Churchill Downs Handicap. In tomorrows test, however, he will be meeting, in Burning Star, a horse that twice has taken his measure this spring. Burning Star, principal member of the Shandon Farm stable maintained by P. A. and R. J. Nash of Chicago, won the John H. Morris Diamond Anniversary Handicap and the Ben Ali Handicap at Keeneland in which Arabs Arrow was a starter. AT EQUAL MEETINGS. The Kentucky Handicap will see them meeting at equal weights, 122 pounds. The others in the stake are M. J. Schmitts Sortie Star; Mrs. R. J. Murphys Knee Deep; Friedberg and Axtons Manie OHara; Dan Lchans Jef fersontown and A. C. Cowans I Hollywood Ace. The Au Revoir Handicap, a sprint at six furlongs, is the principal supporting race and it also drew a well-matched field.
