NARRAGANSETT DIVIDENDS PAWTUCKET, R. I., May 19.— The Board of Directors of Narragansett Racing Association, Inc., met at the Biltmore Hotel, Providence, R. I., today, a full board of nine being present. After a reading of the treasurers report which showed net earnings for the spring meeting April 22 to May 13, in excess of forty cents per share after depreciation, obsolescence and federal income tax reserves had been made, a dividend of forty cents per share upon common stock of the corporation was declared. This dividend will be payable on June 1, 1939, to stockholders of records on the twenty-fourth day of May, 1939. The proxy form, statement, and notice of meeting in connection with the stockholders meeting which will be held at the clubhouse at Narragansett Park on June 19 was approved.
