Frost, Michigan racing commis-t sioner, announced Tuesday that he had ap- proved the ruling of the Detroit Racing Association suspending apprentice George Martin for fifteen calendar days. Martin rode Cant Catch in the eighth race Monday and his mount was disqualified out of first place when the lad stated he grabbed the saddlecloth of yicuna, which was awarded first money. Mary Greenock, Sara Greenock and Gay Salhe, which were raced at Beulah Park by Charles Zoeller for the Glad Acres Farm were unloaded Tuesday and turned out to -John Zoeller, who has the main division of the stable in quarters here. Racing secretary Charles Henry has notified horsemen nominations for the Col. Alger Memorial Handicap, at one and one-sixteenth miles, and down for decision Tuesday, May 30, close "Wednesday. The CoL Alger Memorial, a yearly fixture at the local track, is endowed with ,000 added money. Big Gay, Grand Prince, Imperial Nick, Miss Almadel and Conbee, which were formerly trained by W. R. "Russ" Padgett, have been taken over by P. Ryan, to train. Ryan conditioned the horses during the long New-Orleans season.
