MY WO, never far back and steadied along early, improved her position when ready, established a big lead after taking command entering the stretch, tired in the last stages, but withstood VALVESTA. The latter, in close quarters early, was forced to the outside when racing forward and closed resolutely. WILLIAM V., never far back, held on well. ARNOLDS ACTOR, used up in the pace, tired. LISTOWEL made up ground. WOODWAAC tired. IMPERIAL HIGH had no mishaps. GRAND MARIE and FANDAN were outrun.
