MORE OMAHA ARRIVALS Special Train From Beulah Park Reaches Nebraska Track. Many Star Performers Included in Consignment— Jockey Paul Keiper to Accept Mounts at Meeting. OMAHA, Neb., May 24. — A special train from Beulah Park at Columbus, Ohio, arrived in Omaha yesterday filled to the brim with horses coming for the opening of Ak-Sar-Bens annual race meeting here Saturday. Many of the star performers at Beulah Park were included in the shipment, including Jack Greenock, Woodbridge, Houstonian, Towson, Leap Year Lady, Musical Jack, Off Duty, Trace Boy, Speedy Return, Fight On and the promising-looking two-year-old June Lee. Steve Brooks, one of the leading riders at Beulah Park, who is under contract to the Nebraska horseman, Ed Orin, came with the train, as did jockeys J. Conroy and W. Mc-Cadden. Paul Keiper, leading jockey at Beulah, stopped off for a few days at Detroit, but announced that he would be at Omaha for the opening of the meeting Saturday. LIST OF SIIirrERS. Tice of Bedford, Ohio, with Houstonian and Monopolize; T. B. Miller of Texas, with Move After, Beaumont, Pakala, Trumont, Salestax, Towson, Leap Year Lady, Chicken Lady, Pansy Ann, Musical Jack, Tynemouth and Ingle Nook; Henry Allen of Texas, with Maystick, Maepop, Flying Doll, Bright Melody and The Nile; G. W. Dunn, with Chehalis, My Feng and Ancient Times; J. McBride of San Francisco, with Funder-burg and Thoughtful; E. E. Major of Garland, Kan., with Blazing Sun, Off Duty, Freeze and Beaver Lake; A. L.Hunt of Houston, Texas, with Whisk Cole, Little Mistake and Mable Bane; Henry Manifold of Columbus, Ohio, with Trace Boy, Belle of Midway and Amasin; Ed Orin of Culbertson, Neb., with Miss Carter, Coventry Cap and Carter Boy; C. O. Grieves of Lafayette, Ind., with Grand Sweep and Alt Forgiven, and Fred Nancolas of Modesto, Calif., with Keokee, Full Tilt, Young Agnes, Speedy Return, Fight on and Fleeting Moon. SUGAR CREEK WINNER. Sugar Creek, twice a winner this year, and War Flight will carry the colors of Harry Dean, of Johnson, Kan., in the opening days racing at Ak-Sar-Ben on May 27. They have been, in training here since the close at Hot Springs. The Driggers Bros., of Santa Rosa, N. M., have three head here under the care of J. F. Sullivan. They are French Servant, winner of two races this year, Jeffs Pride and Dick Choice. G. Simmons, of Parnell, Mo., the home of Ben Jones, is here with four head, Lucille H., Glen Cot, Denalo C. and Marys Rival. Clyde Mawhinney, the well-known breeder from Ravenna, Neb., has five head here for competition in the Nebraska Derby and the Nebraska Futurity. The three-year-olds are Miss Vesta and Elsies Color, and the two-year-olds are All McAllister, Gold Mixer and Heathen Arc. Melvin Stubbs is training the stable. Balkan Land, four-time winner last year, heads the stable of W. A. Philpot, of Gandy, Neb., now on the grounds. Others are Pindar Pet, Pebel Pindar and Seth Peel.
