PREDICTS GREAT THINGS FOR NORTH RANDALL CLEVELAND, Ohio, May 24.— "This will be the greatest spot in the country," confided Charles A. Valentine with his wrinkled face wreathed in smiles. For thirty years many of these as the top man of harness racing in this section, Valentine sat behind the shafts guiding the most famous of the pacers and trotters over old North Randall. But, despite his long service in the harness horse field, Valentine transferred his activities to the runners a few years ago and is delighted with the appearance of the old grounds and the prospects it presents in the new field. While putting his stamp of approval on the plant, Valentine gingerly went about hammering away *"at saddle racks as his charges were being put into quarters here this morning.
