WATCH ANDY, much used engaging for the early advantage, had little left at the finish. CHICALMO moved up boldly next to the inside rail to take command on the far turn, but tired thereafter under punishment. LAST STRIDE could not improve her position during the stretch drive while between horses. OLD IRON tired during the late stages. PETROSE GIRL could not keep up after displaying early speed. UNCLE MAC was through early. BE BRIEF quit suddenly after racing forwardly for a half mile. Overweight— Roman Holiday, 2 pounds; Watch Andy, 1; Last Stride, 4. EIGHTH RACE 1 1-16 MILES.
