Aurora Downs to Offer Nine Races Each Night of Meeting AURORA, m, May 2. — Erwin F. Dygert, vice-president and general manager of Aurora Downs, today announced that nine races will be presented each night at the harness tracks two-month meeting opening next Monday, May 9. The presence of nearly 800 horses on the grounds prompted Aurora officials to offer nine races nightly right from the start of the season. In past years it has been customary to stage eight-race cards during the early days of a meeting. "We have so much good racing stock here now," Dygert said today, "that we want to give the horsemen a maximum of racing opportunity. Post time for our first race will be at 8:30 p. m., and the Daily Double will be on the first and second races."
