Godfrey Training for Shagrin CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 2. — Leslie Thompson resigned his training position with the Milton Shagrin stable and the Ohio-owned thoroughbreds have been turned over to Stanley Godfrey. Speedy Lee, a six-year-old stakes winning daughter of Count Gallahad and I Say, has been retired from active campaigning and shipped to Joseph Goodwins Patchen Wilkes farm where she will be bred to Bal-ladier.
