Pair of Unbeaten Pacers Clash at Aurora Tonight True Ladyship and Red Sails Face Acid Test in 19-Class Mile Race AURORA DOWNS, Aurora, HI., May 28. — A pair of undefeated pacers, True Ladyship and Red Sails, will get the supreme test Tuesday night at Aurora Downs when they face each other in a 19 Class pace over the mile route. True Ladyship, owned by the B. J. Stables, Buffalo, N. Y., and driven by Buck Lamb, has a string of four triumphs in as many starts this season. The four-year-old True Chief bay mare has done everything asked and has performed like a true champion/ Her latest achievement was being "parked" the entire mile and still coming on to win in 2:09. Although Red Sails has won three races at this meeting, his time is much more impressive than True Ladyship. The three-year-old The Abbott chestnut colt, owned by H. T. King, Union City, Ind., racked up a tremendous mile in 2:07- on May 24. This trip alone has the railbirds buzzing and predicting an outstanding future for the Roy Riegle trained and Gene Riegle driven colt. The pace, scheduled to go postward as the seventh race on the nine-race program, appears to be a duel between True Lady.-ship and Red Sails, yet there are side-wheelers in the field capable of turning on the speed and making matters real tough for the probable choice campaigners. The remaining horses in the race are Rippling Water, Hlini Siskiyou, Little Winifred W., Widow Guy, Victory Jacky and Click. Anyone of these pacers have enough ability to crack either Red Sails or True Ladyships unbeaten skein. No matter how one looks at it, one beaten pacer will suffer initial defeat, unless they finish in a dead-heat for win. While horsemen will give the seventh race a great deal of attention, due to the appearance of Red Sails and True Ladyship, trotting fans will have their share of thrills in the sixth when eight evenly-matched starters clash. This field consists of Allen Spencer, Black Key, SpudHart, Pay Up, Oh Johnny, Buddy Patchen, Kinny Wyn and Fay Spencer. , Of this group, Joyce Burright Hankins Kinny Wyn is the only campaigner to have won his last start. The eight-year-old Spud Hanover gelding toured the Downs oval in 2:09 on May 24 to handily whip Black Key and Carolyn Brainerd.
