York Again on Sidelines With Broken Collarbone HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., May 28. — Jockey Ray York today was nursing a broken collarbone, injured in a fall here Friday in the same place in which it was broken last February at Santa Anita. The youthful reinsman, who was pacing the riders here at the time of his misfortune, was hurt when Bridle Rings bolted through the inside railing soon after the start of the sixth race. York struck his left shoulder in the fall and he said he knew immediately that he again had fractured his collarbone. Later, X-ray examinations confirmed the break and York again will be inactive for several months. York was riding Bridle Rings for Mrs. Connie Ring who only a few days ago leased the youths contract from Charles Leavitt. Last winter, York received his first collarbone break when he was thrown from On The Spot, also coming out of the gate.
