Carr Will Ride Turco II. In Epsom Derby Tomorrow XiONDON, England, May 28 Reuters.— William Woodwards Turco II., whom Harry Carr has chosen to ride-in preference to North Carolina, was ■•backed from 33 to 1 to 25 to 1 tonight at the Victoria Clubs call-over. North Carolina also was supported, leaving his price unchanged at 28 to 1. He will be ridden by Eph Smith. The Chinese-owned Ki Ming, winner of the Two Thousand Guineas, became a firmer favorite than ever despite rumors about his fitness which were denied by trainer Michael Beary. This colt was one of the five heavily backed tonight, his price being cut from 17 to 2 to 7 to 1. The others stringly backed were Fraise de Bois, Le Vent, Nyangal and Malkas Boy.
