Trio Arrives at Detroit DETROIT, Mich., May 28. — Racing secretary and handicapper Charles J. McLennan, judges Pat Farrell and James Ross, Jr., arrived from Pimlico and took up their duties today at the Michigan Racing Association Course. Farrell and Ross are placing judges and Melvin Mackin, who has been working at a similar task, will now serve as a patrol judge, his regular Livonia track assignment.
