Dozen Probables Listed For Suburban Handicap Only Three of Likely Field Haye Won Stakes Thus Far This Year BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., May 28.— A field of a dozen is in prospect for Wednesdays sixty-fifth running of the Suburban Handicap, with the weights of the probables ranging from the 126 pounds on Brookmeade Stables Greek Ship down to 102 on Ogden Fhipps Busanda. Those between the top and bottom weights are G. D. Wideners Lights Up, 123; Rokeby Stables County Delight, 122; Brandy wine Stables Cochise and Mrs. E. L. Hopkins Three Rings, 120 each; Green-tree Stables One Hitter, 118; Mrs. Harry Trotseks Oil Capitol, 114; G. H. Bostwicks Stunts and Gustave Rings Lone Eagle, 109 each; King Ranchs On The Mark, 106, and Hal Price Headleys Aegina, 103. With this dozen, the Suburban will have a gross value of 0,700 and the net to the winner will be 2,600 and a silver cup. Oddly enough, though this is a representative field, only three of the Suburban probables have won stakes thus far inj.951. County Delight won the Dixie at Pimlico and the Gallant Fox at Jamaica; Three Rings captured the Royal Palm at Hialeah and Cochise won the Grey Lag at Jamaica. Greek Ship won five stakes last year, finishing with the Empire Gold Cup, was second in five others and recently finished third behind County Delight and Palestinian in the Gallant Fox. At the other extreme in the imposts, Busanda scored an upset here on Saturday and owes her continued place in stakes company to a surprise victory in the Alabama last year, in which she beat Next Move.
