Committees Named to Serve On Oak Brook Chase Program Seven committees have been named to assist in the presentation of the fifth annual Oak Brook Steeplechase to be held June 23 on the Oak Brook course northwest of suburban Hinsdale. Supervising the six-race program, and directing the meetings activities, is the race committee of Michael W. Butler, president; Alexander L. Cochrane, vice-president; John L. Irving, treasurer; Emerson T. Chandler, secretary; Julius W. Butler, and Theodore A. Ted Mohlman, MPJfL, racing secretary. In charge of the program are Robert C. Bassett, R. Bruce Baldwin, Carter P. Brown, of Holland, Mich.; August A. Busch, MPJfL, of St. Louis, and Paul Butler, MPJE. The Calcutta pool will be directed by P. Wilson Evans, Marshall Field and Adalbert von Gontard, Jr., of Kirkwood, Mo. Other committees include: Membership — Frederick C. Hecht, Hulburd Johnston, MPJfL, John S. Knight, Stacy B. Lloyd of Berryville, Va., and William Wood-Prince. Entries— Charles C. Jelke, Lawrence E. Johnson, Jr., Alfred D. Plamondon nr., Randall E. Poindexter, MPJH., and Bruce F. Sherman, New York City.
