Dodgers Sell Brown to Phils NEW YORK, N. Y., June 7 UP.— The Brooklyn TJodgers sold Tommy Brown, 23-year-old infielder-outfielder, to the Philadelphia Phillies today for an undisclosed amount of cash. Brown, often described as "the youngest veteran in the major leagues," first was brought up by the Dodgers in 1944, but has seen comparatively little service in his six National League campaigns before this year.
