Senate Postpones Action On Bill to Up Mutuel Tax SPRINGFIELD, HI., June 7.— Action on House Bill 1105, which calls for an additional 1 per cent tax on all monies wagered at v the states running tracks, was postponed until June 13 by a vote of the Senate executive committee yesterday. Earlier however, an attempt in the House to return the bill to committee was voted down and it was placed on the House calendar. The 67th General Assembly ends on June 30. The revenue that would accrue from this additional tax, which would raise the total "take" at Chicagoland tracks to 14 per cent and at Fairmount Park to 15 per cent, would, according to the measure, be earmarked for a fair and expositions fund and be used £0 help support a Chicago lake
