Inseparable Among Ten in Raceland Makes Debut at Washington In Feature on Turf Course Dr. Ole Nelson, Provocative 4 And Janina Oppose Shifty Hasty House Farm Runner WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, 111., June 7.— Inseparable, one of the top handicap horses in the Chicago area last summer, will make his seasonal bow in this territory tomorrow when he will engage eight others over the mile and a sixteenth grass course. The Hasty House Farm star was victorious in the Stars and Stripes Handicap and the Washington Park Handicap last semester in accounting for seven successes during the year. He amassed earnings of almost 0,000. In his only start this year, which was at Churchill Downs on May 11, the six-year-old son of Unbreakable got off to a good start in finishing first over a good field. In tomorrows contest,, which will be known as the Raceland, Inseparable will have the support of Swap Out, also from the.Hasty House stable. Swap Out, while unable to win a stake last year, took down the major portion of four purses. Ken Church will ride Inseparable, with Robert Baird on Swap Out. Another stake winner of last year returning to the races here in the Raceland, is Dr. Ole Nelson, winner of last seasons Hawthorne Gold Cup. In that mile and a quarter affair the five-year-old defeated Inseparable and a number of other good ones, including Volcanic, track record holder at both Washington and Arlington Parks, and Curandero, a South American stake winner. Dr. die Nelson has started twice this year, and in one try was fourth to Ky. Colonel, Shadows Start and Famous Shake. Narrowly Beaten by Circus Clown Provocative, who looms as a strong contender in the feature, has started several times at this meeting and was winner of one race. In his last effort the Denemark five-year-old was beaten narrowly by Circus Clown when heavily favored to win. Nor are several of the others slated to line up in the Raceland to be overlooked. The five-year-old mare, Janina, defeated Bullish, Grumpito, and others in her first and only start of the season at this track, while Kosadus, from the Mrs. A. M. Creech, barn, triumphed early in the session. Float-.ing Clown was a fairly consistent winner last year, scoring seven times. The Irish-bred horse, Owens Cuts, began his American career at Hot Springs last March and has started three times at this meeting, but was unable to be better than fourth. Little Flower has won two races this year and the eight-year-old Chilean-bred, Mister Morgan, was fourth back of Circus Clown, Provocative and Mr. Fox in his only start. He won five races last year. A big field of two-year-old fillies is in prospect for the Miss America Stakes on Saturday.
