Ohio Notes RIVER DOWNS, California, Ohio, June 10. Jockey Billy Sacketts four winners on Saturdays card boosted him into the runner-up position in the jockey race here. Apprentice W. D. Lucas continues to lead the riders with 11 victories which tops Sackett by one. Another apprentice, J. Vitelli, is a close third with nine saddle triumphs. Jockey Georgie Roser has recovered from a slight case of the flu and again accept- ing riding engagements. The capable vet- j eran rested over the week-end upon his physicians advice and is now fit and ready again. Ray Petrin, who was thrown from Ojai : Boy last week, has shaken off the effects of his toss and will return to action tomorrow. Petrin still rides first string for his original contract employer, L. W. Johnson, who brought the lad out some seven years ago.
