Bimfort Tops Nine Foes In No. 2 of Montchanin Husman Filly Won First Section Of Delaware Event Last Week DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 10. — Harry Husman s Bimfort, who last week earned 24 points while completely outclassing her opposition in the inaugural part of the Montchanin Handicap, tomorrow afternoon will carry highweight of 122 pounds in the No. 2 in a series of five events. The purse and distance increases weekly and tomorrows mile and one furlong version carries a purse of ,000. Opposing the War Admiral filly in the nine-furlong jaunt will be the following: Thomas W- Baker, Jr.s Vamanos, 121; Mill River Stables Xavier II., 119; R. De Legor-burus Benhadar, 117; Anthony Allens Net Result, 114; JA. Bayards Zeeland, 112; Craigwood Stables Midyear, 111; R. E. Cudahys I Trust, 110; T. C. Eastmans Snuzzle, 109, and Phil L. Leydeckers Fifty-Five, 104 pounds. Bimfort galloped off with a nine-length victory in last weeks mile and one-sixteenth test and she shapes up as a prohibitive choice against tomorrows opposition. Her seasonal record of six wins in 14 starts is an impressive one for a filly of her value. Including last weeks purse, she has earned close to 3,000. Zeeland, I Trust, Vamanos and Xavier II., finished as named last week behind Bimfort, and well behind to say the least. Zeeland, who was second, picks up two pounds, as compared to the winners nine-pound increase. I Trust, who closed willingly, also has an increase of a single pound while Vamanos, for some unknown reason, picks up an additional three pounds. Xavier II. drops one pound, which hardly will help him. Benhadar and Net Result were shipped here from New York, where they raced well in their most recent attempts. Benhadar, a nine-year-old, was making only his second start in this country and scored impressively over ,500 claimers while being timed in 1:57% for a mile and three-sixteenths in the slop. He was second with similar company in his only previous outing. I Net Result was beaten narrowly by Pibroch in his last start and prior to that won over ,000 claimers. Fifty-Five, an honest six-year-old, has a first, second and a third in a trio of engagements this season and won his last start at Garden State by two lengths while sporting a ,000 claiming price. As in each of the Montchanin series, there will be 45 points awarded to the first four horses to finish. The present standings find Bimfort with 24 points. Zeeland has 12 points, while the third and fourth finishers last week — Father Link and Lucky Harp — are nq£ entered in tomorrows race. Should the series be completed as scheduled, the owners of the first four horses in the point standing will split an award of ,500.
