Keith and LeRoy Elected To Hollywood Park Posts HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., June 10.— Willard W. Keith, corporation executive and leader in many southern California civic and charitable activities, and Mervyn LeRoy, one of the motion picture industrys most prominent directors and producers, was elected to two of the Hollywood Turf Clubs major offices Monday night. At a special meeting of the board of directors, Keith was named chairman of the board as well as treasurer and LeRoy was elected president. General manager J. F. .Mackenzie was re-elected vice-president and H. W. Dougherty was named secretary. Roy F. Wilcox, who has been secretary, was elected as one of the two vice-presidents. Keith, an officer and director in more than a score of prominent corporations, including the presidency of Cosgrove and Co., Inc., of Los Angeles and New York, has been treasurer of the Hollywood Turf Club for the last six years. Leroy, who has been secretary and vice-president of Hollywood Park, has directed and produced pictures since 1927 and heads Mervyn LeRoy Productions releasing through MGM.
