Barney Blue, Groom, Dies Following Stable Area Fight FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville, 111., June 10. — Barney Blue, a seventeen-year-old groom, died early this morning from a knife wound received during a fight in the stable area here at Fairmount Park yesterday afternoon. The fight resulted from an argument. Blue was from Pawtucket. R. I. Owner-trainer Claude E. Wilson is being held by local police in Collinsville. The Fairmount Park officials issued the following ruling against Wilson: "Owner-trainer, Earl Wilson Claude E. Wilson is hereby suspended for the balance of the Fairmount Park meeting for practices detrimental to the best interest of racing and his case referred to the Illinois Racing Board for any action which they deem necessary."
