Filly Spinaround Dead LEXINGTON, Ky., June 10.— William Goetz Spinaround, the four-year-old daughter of Beau Pere — Whirlabout, by Pompey, died here recently at Leslie Combs II.s Spendthrift Farm. Spinaround herself was a winner in allowance company and placed in stakes and was considered a bright prospect as a broodmare. Her dam was one of the best fillies of her year. Spinaround was also well known as the filly jockey Gilbert was riding when he was thrown and suffered injuries that ended his riding career.
