Dulles Confers in Israel JERUSALEM, Israel, May 14. — U. S. Secretary of State John Foster Dulles conferred at length here today with premier David Ben-Gurion and top Israeli officials. Dulles drove here this morning from Tel-Aviv with mutuel security administrator Harold E. Stassen, who is accompanying him on a fact-finding tour of the Middle East. Bars Big Power Meeting WASHINGTON, D. C, May 14. — President Eisenhower told a news conference today he has seen no definite evidence of good faith on the part of Russia that would warrant holding a big-power meeting as suggested by Prime Minister Winston Churhcill. The President also challenged the correctness of former British Prime Minister Clement R. Attlee who said some people in the United States do not want peace in Korea. Korea Fighting Increases SEOUL, Korea, May 14. — Fighting increased sharply along the 155-mile battle-front today as South Koreans smashed eight Chinese assaults on Outpost Texas in the heaviest action. An Eighth Army communique said action along the entire front showed "an increase in tempo." Hope for Airmen Wanes NIAGARA FALLS, N. Y., May 14.— Hope waned today for the safety of two missing Bell Aircraft Corp. airmen who either jumped or were blown from a "mother" B-50 plane when an X-2 experimental plane attached to it exploded 30,000 feet over Lake Ontario. Nevertheless, an extensive air-sea search was being continued for any trace of Jean L. "Skip" Ziegler, 32, Bells chief test pilot, and Frank Wolko, 33, a flight engineer, both of Buffalo. Egypt Cracks Down CAIRO, Egypt, May 14. — The government announced today that all supplies provided by Egyptian dealers to the British garrison in the Suez Canal Zone would be banned unless a special permit was obtained. The order, issued by supply minister Sabry Man- sour, applied to everything from foodstuffs to construction materials. Stress Global Planning WASHINGTON, D.
