SIX-THREE FOUR, outrun to the last three-eighths mile, drifted to the outside entering the stretch and closed fast when straightened for the drive, but could not overtake the winner. MAGIC CHOICE went into an early lead, set the pace to the last eighth, then faltered when challenged by JACK TAR. DARIE lacked early speed and could not reach the leaders when set down through the stretch. ALDENSON tired after displaying early speed. SOOCRU raced well to the stretch, then gave way.
