Early Monmouth Stake Entries OCEANPORT, N. J., May 14.— Although Monmouth Parks 1953 stakes nominations do not close until June 1, an earily sprinkling of entries are already reaching the track office of racing secretary John Turner, Jr. First to name for the rich schedule of added money events was R. N. Webster with the two-year-old Varsity in the Tyro and Sapling Stakes, and the three-year-old filly, Petal, in the 0,000 Monmouth Oaks. Other early nominators include Herbert M. Woolf , William Woodward and J. G. Karns. Monmouths galaxy of stakes is worth 75,000 this season, richest in history.
