McGUIRE Staff Correspondent BEULAH PARK, Grove City. Ohio, May 14. — A test under allowance conditions over six furlongs,- tops tomorrows card at this course and nine sprinters, three- ear-olds and older, are named for it. Two of the en- trants race for J. D. Dyer and of this pair, the Jacopo mare, Miss Black, earns serious consideration on the strength of her ex- cellent second to Duskys First here the other day. Coupled with Miss Black is Mist o Blue, who is less highly regarded than : her stablemate. Making his first seasonal appearance ; here is William J. Mooks Polante Boy, who i is not overmatched against rivals of this | type when his best efforts are considered. . j His training moves have been satisfactory and a repeat of them will make him a very definite threat. I Bay Bam, who races for Ed C. Bunting, ] was third to Duskys First and Miss Black in their recent engagement to attest pres-y j ent fitness, and any improvement over that | effort would find her right at hand again. j Mrs. J. Bronnenbergs Jims Tigress is another who is making her local seasonal I debut. Accustomed to racing with good | company, she would not occasion too much surprise by taking the major portion of this test. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Coles Selabull can-:- not be dismissed from this evenly balanced I field. His second here the other day was a | creditable effort.
