1 Jockeys Anyon and Williams Injured in Wheeling Spill WHEELING DOWNS, Wheeling, W. Va., May 14. — A spill marred the running of the second race here today sending jockeys Sonny Ray Williams and Evan Anyon to the North Wheeling Hospital. Preliminary examinations at the track revealed both riders to be suffering from shoulder injuries, with Anyon appearing the more seriously injured of the two. Williams, presently leading the riders I here, was riding the favored Qui Melodie in the five-furlong dash and as the field I of eight approached the first turn the mare I struck the heels of another horse causing her to fall.
