BULLISH, well rated early, went to the front wlien ready on the backstretch, and saving ground in the stretch went gamely to the end to hold CHINKAPIN. The latter moved up fast after leaving the backstretch and went well thereafter. "AIM dropped some distance back of the pace early, was outrun by CHINKAPIN around the far turn and required to take back", then came to the outside in the stretch and finished well in a creditable race.
