WORTHY SIS was badly outrun to the stretch turn, then moved very fast and getting to the front in the last furlong, drew into a safe lead. SOME GO was in close quarters soon after the start and dropped back but came fast in the middle of the track through the stretch to best the others. AHSA BEAUTY showed good early speed but weakened in the last eighth. LITTLE BURDEN was going fairly well at the finish. ROBOH dashed to the front from the outside soon after the start but weakened in the last eighth. . . INTENTION improved his position, gradually while racing wide, BATTLE KING and LUART also closed well. ROWDY ROBERT was taken back when in close quarters on the backstretch and went very wide in the stretch. MY FAITH was an early leadecbut tired. The latter lacked early speed and dropped back to last place between calls in the early running, then made up ground to finish well in the middle of the track. ADMIRALS WAVE made a good attempt- to get to the winner in the stretch and held on fairly well. SMART COOKIE was easily best of the others. MOKATUCK was never a contender. HOBAD went to the front, at once and saving ground throughout, had enough left to withstand a rather serious challenge near the end and win drawing out again. NIKOH BABY was outrun early and coming to the outside in the stretch, loomed up strongly but seemed to hand near the end. SIGNAL CODE also made a good move in the stretch and was unable to reach the front. LOCK OUT was in close quarters in the stretch while trying for an opening on the inside and continued well to the finish. ROCKY SIR was badly outrun in a weak effort. PIRAGUA had some early speed.
