BELLE STAR raced SMALL PACKAGE into defeat rounding the turn, drew clear rapidly and held SUDU GAL safe. The latter attained prominence early, but could not get to the winner. BONSOIR ALICE was slow to settle into stride and closed willingly. SUITS ME raced evenly. GARALORTER was outrun. DISCHARGE flattened out badly when unable to attain the early lead. LOIS RABBIT shewed an even effort. TWO-TWENTY lacked a menacing rally. STARRY SKY was sluggish early. TEAKWOOD quit. SHOREBASED showed nothing. SATURNS RING was through early. The latter closed well from far back. DREAM PASSES could not keep pace. REACTION was hard pressed for the lead through the opening half mile and weakened. DIDNSLIP was through after a half mile. KING CHICO gave way early. RACE TANDEM raced wide throughout. PETTY LARCENY dwelt at the start. BETJE stopped badly. OUR TOWN was outrun. TEMPTING turned in a dull effort. BULL GINO quit. TUMBLER was nicely handled while improving his position and drew clear through the final furlong. BEATS was always formidable and closed willingly. HAPPY RABBIT lacked sufficient late rally after racing forwardly placed. UNATTACHED was unable to outrun SCOTIA for the lead, but continued on fairly well. SCOTIA was rated in front to the stretch and flattened out NOBLE SUN raced along the inside and was taken up several times through the stretch while apparently full of run. CHANTER was fractious at the starting point and delayed the start. SUPER SIGN broke badly. BO MOWLEE was eliminated at the start.
