Brooks mildly urged the sixteenth mile Roman Spy passing marker then permitted his mount to coast home safely, repulsing Joes Crests game but futile bid. ,. , Alsab Ace, outrun in the earlier stages, finished well enough to show but he was Continued on Page Forty-Five Roman Spy Gains Popular Repeat Victory at Downs Gives Jockey Brooks Triple and Trainer Hodgins Double on Card Continued from Page One no match for the top pair while OHogan, weary from forcing Roman Spys early pace, wound up a tiring fourth.
