JUST SIDNEY challenged the pace from the outside, raced SQUARED AWAY into defeat after four and one-half furlongs and handily drew-away. DARK PETER, steadied behind horses rounding the far turn, was steered around rivals into the stretch and finished willingly. SQUARED AWAY was hustled into a clear lead soon after the start, showed his speed under strong pressure and faltered when headed. HILARIOUS raced around horses into the stretch and tired in the final run. HYPHASIS lacked his usual speed away from the gate. BLUE RHYMER and ESMERO quit.
