JANTEMBER, reserved within striking distance Df the pace, moved to engagesthe leader entering the stretch, drew clear inside the final sixteenth and lasted over BIT-0-M00N. The latter saved ground to the stretch, came outside in the late stages and was catching the winner. BLUE EMBER, close up and saving ground, gained the lead when roused, but was not good enough. MILAN BOY alternated in setting the early .pace, weakening in the late stages. SAILING HOME, a forward Factor, was unable to menace under late urging. FIRST ONE saved ground to no avail. BLACK ROVER passed tiring horses. JACKS NEEN had no mishap. LUREMENOW was through after five furlongs. The others were outrun. WINSTAY, close up and under steadying restraint along the inside, moved into command as the leader raced wide, responded to steady urging and held SANS FAUTE safe. The latter, reserved within striking distance of the pace, rallied under late pressure, but was jnable to reach the leader. EXPECTANT assumed command under light restraint, weakened after five furlongs ind drifted out in the late stages. WHATATOY rushed boldly on the extreme outside to near the leaders m the final turn and was unable to make up ground in the stretch. OXLIN, a forward factor, held position ilthough unable to threaten. WASSERMATTER had no mishap. SCIPIO went evenly. The others were outrun. HIGH SPEED broke alertly, remained with the pace from the start, came out slightly on the final turn, responded to urging and was along to forge to the front in the final yards., BETWEEN US saved ground, driving up along the inside in the final furlong and was catching the leaders. OISEAU ROUGE disposed of BIRD BELL early, increased his advantage skirting the final turn, but was not good enough. SWEET SOPHIE rallied in the late stages and was overtaking the eaders. OLYMPIC QUEEN, in hand vhile improving position gradually, closed with good energy in the late stages. HENRYS DELIGHT saved ground 0 better late position. MAIDENS REWARD rallied to challenge the leader on the final turn, weakened and irifted out slightly. BRIEF SYMBOL opened a commanding lead, shortened stride after three furlongs and retired teadily. DEFLATION moved to the extreme outside entering the stretch, responded to steady pressure and was overtaking the leader. SEAFLASH assumed command at once, set the pace to the final turn, gave way, was placed under stout urging and was coming again at the end. PASSING PARADE moved to displace the leader on the final turn, drew clear and faltered. BO-CAP, a forward factor, was unable to better position in the late stages. HANDSOME PETE assumed command at once, drew clear, was rated under steadying restraint, steered to the middle of the track in the stretch and won with something in reserve, EIGHT BELLS held on gamely after failing to threaten the leader. BUSS UP came to the inside in the drive, but was unable to make up ground. ACE CAPTAIN reared back at the start, was rushed into contention along the inside and weakened.
